The most common problem that users face with respect to their wireless router is with respect to the passwords that they use to secure their routers. You can usually access your router’s administration page by typing 192.168.1.1 in your browser window. In some cases it may be different from this – a list of popular routers and their Admin IP Address and admin user name and password is given below.
*Blank fields indicate blank, i.e. users need not enter anything in that field.
In case of some routers you can also type http://routerlogin.net on your browser window and access the administration page of your Router.
On entering the user name password you will see a screen which resembles the screen depicted above. On this screen click on Security and enter or remove the password that is entered there. After entering the password the router will ask for a reboot – reboot the system and you will have a new password set.
